In light of new global precautions for the COVID-19 Coronavirus, and to ensure we are adhering to the direction of our leading health and government authorities, effective immediately, all FBC church activities, auxiliary ministries, including Sunday Service and Wednesday Night Bible Service, will move to virtual gatherings until further notice. These precautions are not only important for your own safety but for the health and welfare of the entire community. Social distancing can and will slow the rate of infection in order to allow our health care services to respond appropriately.
Please remember, social distancing, does not mean social isolation. Public health emergencies like the COVID-19 can cause fear and anxiety, so now is the time for the church to be the Church! Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. (Philippians 4:6-7). This passage reminds us that, in every situation, our prayers ground us in God’s peace! We will step forward with faith: God is with us as we seek protection and discernment.
In an effort to keep members spiritually connected and aware of various church communications, we are launching FBC Connect. This outlet will enable us to quickly share church and community information. Please see below for our list of upcoming key changes & support to help manage through these unprecedented times.
